The Arkansas State Archives houses approximately 13,000 cubic feet of state records and manuscript collections pertaining to the history of Arkansas and its people. These materials have been described and inventoried for ease of access. These inventories, called finding aids, are keyword searchable. Separated Materials: Some archival collections contain materials that have been stored separately from the bulk of the collection due to those items' preservation needs. Generally, this affects collections that include artifacts that have been moved to the archives' museum collection, and the existence of artifacts in a collection has been noted in that collection's finding aid. Due to the nature of artifact and other separated materials, we require researchers to fill out an Artifact Access Form and send it in to state.archives@arkansas.gov, to schedule an appointment to view artifacts from the museum collection.

Eureka Springs Water Company article, c. 1920
This collection contains two copies of a promotional broadsheet measuring about 6x17" which contains a personal essay on the healing properties of the hot springs at Eureka Springs. The header reads "from the Kansas City Weekly Journal," and the essay is formatted like a news article, but there is no newsprint on the back, no author credited, and the footer directs readers to their local Ozarka Water Company for further questions. The date is given only as November 20, but the year is thought to be about 1920.

Fielder family papers, 1855-1914
This collection includes correspondence between Fielder family members, a photograph from a Fielder family reunion circa 1914, and genealogical research on the Fielder family. In much of the correspondence, the Fielder family members who had moved to Texas were asking Ragus Fielder to move there, as well. One of the letters also discusses the beginning of the Civil War. Another contains a lock of human hair.
