Biographical/Historical Note

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks are a fraternal organization founded in New York City in 1868. Following the structure of fraternal organizations popularized by the Freemasons, Elks clubs are based out of local lodges. The Fayetteville lodge from which this program originated was #1104.
