This collection contains a letter written by Elliott R. Berry to his sweetheart, Ruth Dickinson, about a month before their marriage.

Biographical/Historical Note

Born in Bentonville, Arkansas, July 7, 1879, Elliot R. Berry was the son of Governor James H. Berry. Ruth Dickinson was the daughter of George Dickinson and was born in 1881 in Calhoun County, Arkansas. The Dickinson family moved to Little Rock in 1882. Elliott and Ruth were married on November 26, 1902.
