Welcome to the Arkansas Digital Archives!

The Arkansas State Archives was established as the Arkansas History Commission by the Arkansas General Assembly in 1905 to serve as the state’s official archives. For well over 100 years, the State Archives has gathered and preserved official government records and other materials pertaining to the history of Arkansas and its people.
