Biographical/Historical Note

R.E.L. Bearden was a Methodist minister for forty-two years before retiring, whom was married to Mary Frances "Fannie" Davis on May 3, 1891, and was the father of Ada Ruth Bearden Gordon, Gussie Bearden, John Frank Bearden, Nina Elizabeth Bearden Stewart, Eugene Bearden, Clema Margaret Bearden Edwards, and Reverend Robert Edward Lee Bearden Jr.
