This collection contains a certificate of election for William W. Bryant for County Treasurer of Jefferson County and a certificate of election for W.T. Bryant for Justice of the Peace for Jefferson County.
Biographical/Historical Note
Jefferson County is Arkansas' twenty-first county and was formed on November 2, 1829, from portions of Arkansas and Pulaski County. It is named after Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States. The county seat and largest city is Pine Bluff.
