This collection contains a diary kept by John Franklin Hopper of Caddo Gap, Arkansas.
Biographical/Historical Note
John Franklin Hopper was born October 30, 1856 to William A. Hopper and Julia Ann Paysinger in Caddo Gap, Arkansas. Hopper was a farmer. He married Martha Burke and they had three children David, Ira, and Julia. Martha Burke Hopper died in 1916. John Franklin Hopper died April 4, 1935 in Caddo Gap, Arkansas.
