Jonesboro
Head Quarters
fiftyfifth regiment the Ark. Militia
I do herby certify that
Alen Dodds Received a majority of the
votes given at a special election held
at the voting for captain in Company A
of the 55 Regiment of the A.M.
I do also certify that Noble Joseph was
duly elected first Lieutenant in said company
at the same time and place
I do also certify that David Mead was
duly elected Captain at an election held on
the same day for Company C
I do also certify that Henry N. Luller
was duly elected Captain at an election
held in Company D on the same day
Given under my hand this the
