This collection contains one letter from Musa Dollard of Brooklin, Maine, to Nora D. Hensley of Hensley, Arkansas, and one photograph of a man on the pouch of a home.

Biographical/Historical Note

Musa Dollard was born in Maine in 1876 to Benjamin and Ida Dollard. She worked as a teacher in Brooklin, Maine, and her father worked as an undertaker. Musa passed away in 1925 and is buried in Brooklin Cemetery. Ida Dollard was born in Maine to Gilmoie and Harriet Flye sometime in 1852. She passed away on December 12, 1909. Nora Harris Hensley married Confederate veteran William B. Hensley in 1881. William died in August of 1891 and Nora continued to run his large farm until her death in 1953
