Description
This collection is comprised of yearly class photographs from first through sixth school grades at the Murmil Heights Elementary School of El Dorado, Arkansas, depicting students and teachers from 1962 – 1982, as well as photographs from events held at the school in 1984 and 1985. The collection also contains a newspaper clipping pertaining to an event at the elementary school from 1984.
Biographical/Historical Note
Murmil Heights Elementary School is located in El Dorado, Arkansas, in the small community of Murmil Heights. The elementary school began as an all-white elementary school, but by the 1968-1969 school year both the students and the faculty were integrated.
