This collection contains an autobiography of Lura Pierce Mulkey and Isaac Newton Mulkey with a history of Fort Smith since 1898.
Biographical/Historical Note
Isaac Newton Mulkey was born in Tennessee on February 24, 1873, to Jonathan H. Mulkey and Elizabeth Rich. He married Lura Corey on May 4, 1901. Lura Corey Mulkey was born around 1879 and died in 1974. Isaac Mulkey was a Baptist minister. He died on September 30, 1948, in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas.
