This collection consists of a photocopy of the Horace J. Ford diary, relating his experiences on the Horace Walworth Plantation near Columbia, Arkansas, in Chicot County. The original diary is in the collections of the Historic Arkansas Museum, formerly known as Arkansas Territorial Restoration, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Horace J. Ford was a plantation overseer employed by Horace F. Walworth at Walworth's plantation near Columbia in Chicot County, Arkansas.
