This collection contains a typed history of the Hale home in Nashville, Arkansas.

Biographical/Historical Note

Andrew Jackson "Jack" Hale was born in Bedford County, Tennessee, on September 26, 1816, and died in Howard County, Arkansas, in 1895. His wife, Tacy, was born in Bedford, County, Tennessee, also in 1823, and died on December 27, 1879. The Hale family moved to Hempstead County, Arkansas, in 1849, and built a home on a plot of land there.
