Biographical/Historical Note
Andrew Jackson "Jack" Hale was born in Bedford County, Tennessee, on September 26, 1816. He died in Howard County, Arkansas, in 1895. His wife, Tacy, was born in Bedford County, Tennessee, in 1823, and died on December 27, 1879. The Hale family moved to Hempstead County, Arkansas, in 1849.
