Biographical/Historical Note
The appointed county offices within these books include positions of alderman, clerk, coroner, judge, notary, mayor, magistrate, recorder, school commissioner, sheriff, surveyor, treasurer, and others.
The 69th General Assembly of Arkansas enacted Act 883 of 1973 to rebind and recondition these volumes.
