Biographical/Historical Note
This collection contains special Orders No.50 from W.L. Cabell, Commanding Brigadier General of Head Quarters, requiring men formerly belonging to Clarkson's Regiment of Cavalry and Adam's Regiment of Infantry, who are now absent from their Regiments at Little Rock and who are in North West Arkansas to enroll for service in companies under his command within the ten days of publication of order or face arrest and conscription at Dardanelle.
