This collection contains papers belonging to the Norris-Moody family of Ashley and Pulaski counties in Arkansas including tax receipts, birth and legal records, and Army service records dating between 1868 and 1956.
Biographical/Historical Note
Claire Norris (1890-1962) was born August 4, 1890 in Hamburg, Arkansas to James Dixie Norris and Willie Etta Boyett Norris. Claire Norris married William F. Moody of Schenectady, New York on December 20, 1913 in Jefferson County, Arkansas. Claire Norris Moody died in December 1962.
