This collection contains photocopies of letters and other documents pertaining to the Northrup family.
Biographical/Historical Note
Harry Northrup was born August 23, 1807, in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. He married Nancy Coxin 1831. They had sixteen children including sons Harry Clay, George Watkins, Thomas, and Orlando Salisbury who served in the Civil War. Harry Clay Northrup died at the Battle of Bull Run and George Watkins Northrup died at Andersonville Prison.
