This color Dextone postcard shows the Ole King Cole restaurant, Arkansas's oldest drive-in restaurant, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Biographical/Historical Note
Arkansas's oldest drive-in restaurant and one of the best known restaurants lining the lower part of Broadway/Highway 67 south, the Ole King Cole Restaurant sat at the corner of Fifth and Broadway. From its beginnings in the 1920s, Ole King Cole offered curb service and was said to have served some of the best hot fudge sundaes in town.
