This collection contains 21 death certificates and 147 birth certificates from Jackson county, between the years 1917 and 1930, plus some blank forms.
Biographical/Historical Note
Dr. M.B. Owens delivered 159 babies primarily in the Cache township over the course of his career from 1917-1932. He was also the Jackson County health official during this time. Bobby Huey donated the records to NEARA through the Arkansas State Parks CMF in Newport.
