November 5, 1831 Governor W. M. Fishback born, member of Const. Convention of 1874, author of first amendment to constitution, governor 1893-1895, died 1903.
Four counties formed on Nov. 5: Greene 1833, Jackson 1829, Polk 1844, Scott 1833. Scott County court house at Waldron.
Charter granted by Tennessee Grand Lodge to Fayetteville Masonic Lodge, Nov. 5, 1835, now Washington No. 1.
