Transcription

Oct. 2, 1849 Daniel Ringo appointed U.S. Judge, Ringo was first chief justice of Ark, born in Kentucky, studied law in Arkadelphia and Washington, died 1873.

Oct. 2, 1894 Little Rock tornado.

Last session of general assembly at Arkansas Post, Oct. 2, 1820.

Grand chapter of the Order of Eastern Star organized at Searcy, Oct. 2, 1876.
