January 24, 1862 Jas. M. McIntosh commissioned brigadier-general, graduated from West Point 1849 and served on frontier till 1860.

Killed in Battle of Pea Ridge Mar. 7, 1862.

State Supreme Court organized Jan. 24, 1837.
