Transcription

May 10, 1864 Stand Watie commissioned brig-general C.S.A., colonel of first Cherokee regt. organized Oct, 1861, Gen. Watie's brigade in 1864 consisted of 1st Cherokee Regt. 1st Osage Batt., 1st & 2nd Creek Regts. 1st Seminole Batt., died 1877.
