Diary of physician T.W. Hardison for the year 1929, including everyday life, patient appointments, Hardison's writing processes, conferences spoken at or attended, land bought and sold, and meetings of the local board of education and medical society.
Thomas William Hardison, a Petit Jean Mountain physician, author, and geologist, was instrumental in the creation of Arkansas's state parks system. He served as a member of the Arkansas State Parks Commission and was, for a time, chairman. He was born in 1884 at Richland, Columbia County, Arkansas. He died in April 1957.
