This collection contains one letter written by Annie McRae in 1857.
Biographical/Historical Note
Annie McRae was the sister of Confederate General Dandridge McRae. She was born about 1840 in Alabama. Following the death of her father in 1849, Annie moved with her mother and siblings to White County, Arkansas. In this letter, Annie discusses Little Rock and her recent trip there, as well as the happenings in White County.
