Description
This list of Confederate soldiers wounded at Chickamauga Creek includes those from the 2nd, 5th, 6th,8th, 13th, and 15th Arkansas regiments.
Biographical/Historical Note
From September 19th through the 20th, Union and Confederate armies clashed near Chattanooga, Tennessee. General William S. Rosecrans led the Union troops, while General Braxton Bragg led the Confederate forces. The battle was a victory for the Confederates, but it was also one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War, with losses including 16,000 Union soldiers and 18,000 Confederate soldiers.
