This collection contains a transcript by Mayme Dawson of the Harris Flanagin Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Arkadelphia, Arkansas, of Mary S. Patrick's Civil War diary.

Biographical/Historical Note

Mary S. Patrick, the daughter of William B. Belknap, was born in Pennsylvania, June 9, 1820. She married Colonel W.H. Halliburton after the Civil War. She died February 18, 1892, and is buried at DeWitt, Arkansas.
