Description
This collection consists of one scrapbook containing newspaper clippings, photographs, memorabilia, publications, and cards. It includes a note stating, "Eula Whiddon, Scrapbook Chairman 1205 Southwest Avenue, El Dorado, Arkansas, for The El Dorado Business and Professional Women's Club Southeast District of Arkansas, under President Lorene Flenniken." The scrapbook includes content on the club's 52nd birthday in April 1973.
Biographical/Historical Note
The El Dorado Business and Professional Women's club was established in 1921 and operated for at least a half-century. The group encouraged the role of women in the workforce and participated in state activities of the Arkansas Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs.
