Description
This collection holds a letter from Attorney James Robertson of Wynne, Arkansas, to the editor of the Arkansas Gazette about the Gazette’s coverage of Jim Johnson.
Biographical/Historical Note
James Robertson was born on March 30, 1891, to Judge Edward Dale and Ethel Beard Robertson in Marianna, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1912, after which he attended Cumberland Law School and was admitted to the bar in 1915. James opened a law office in Wynne, Arkansas, soon after. James passed away on February 28, 1972, and is buried in Cogbill Cemetery in Cross County, Arkansas.
