Description
This collection holds three school promotion cards for Violet Feild, from Our Lady of Good Counsel School in Little Rock. Each is signed by a different Nun within the school.
Biographical/Historical Note
Mary Violet Field was born on February 28, 1906 to William Allen and Christina Lucchesi Field in Little Rock, Arkansas. Violet went to school in Little Rock, Arkansas at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School. In 1930 she worked in Little Rock for a roofing company as a stenographer and in 1940 she worked in Washington D.C. for the Department of Agriculture as a stenographer.
