This collection contains an instruction manual for the operation and care of a Remington Model 11-'48, a list of gun safety rules, and an envelope with a list of the Remington’s special features.

Biographical/Historical Note

The Remington Model 11-’48 is a semi-automatic shotgun modeled after the Remington Model 11. It was manufactured between 1949 - 1968 as a long-recoil controlled semi-automatic shotgun with the shells stored in a tubular magazine under the barrel. This weapon was unique in that it featured interchangeable parts that did not require a gunsmith for the fitting.
