Biographical/Historical Note

Edward Orick Bagley (1874-1949), Little Rock, Arkansas, cartographer, real estate agent, and newspaperman, was born in Arkansas County, Arkansas, the son of Paul Bagley (1835-1901), lawyer, itinerant evangelist, missionary, and street preacher for the Disciples of Christ. In 1919, Edward Bagley was elected to the Arkansas General Assembly, serving for one term. He was secretary and treasurer of the Beach Abstract and Guaranty Company of Little Rock.
