This logbook records the experiences of James E. Cameron in the United States Navy.

Biographical/Historical Note

James E. Cameron enlisted in the United States Navy on August 30, 1907, at Fort Worth, Texas, and was stationed at San Francisco, California. He served aboard the U.S.S. Nebraska and embarked upon the "world's greatest goodwill tour" visiting fifteen countries from December 16, 1907, through February 22, 1909. He went on to serve eight years in the U.S. Navy and ten years in the Merchant Marines.
