This collection contains teachers' records, school registers, annual reports, election records, contracts, one publication, and photographs.
Biographical/Historical Note
When Burcham School was built northeast of Branch, Arkansas, about 1883, Franklin County School District 6 was created. About 1886 it became known as the Maple Grove School District. Before 1923 a new schoolhouse was built on present state highway 288. Later the school moved again. The Maple Grove School closed after the 1930 spring term and the students transferred to Branch School District.
