Description
This collection contains one Agricultural Extension Service scrapbook with materials related to Leota Vinson Kelley's work with the 4-H Club. It also contains three Russellville High School yearbooks that belonged to Joe Kelley.
Biographical/Historical Note
This collection was originally donated to the First Baptist Church in Pine Bluff after the passing of JoAnn Kelley, who was a member and active in the church. The materials belonged to her parents, Joe and Leota Vinson Kelley. The Kelleys were residents of Pine Bluff. Leota Kelley was active in the 4-H Club, and this collection contains a scrapbook and passages she wrote about her work. Joe Kelley attended Russellville High School, and the collection contains three yearbooks from his time there. JoAnn Kelley was born on August 8, 1951 and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1969. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from University of Arkansas Monticello in Psychology and her Master's Degree from University of Arkansas Fayetteville in Education. She spent her career in special education as a teacher and administrator at various locations. She died in Pine Bluff on July 27, 2018.
