Albert Pike was an author, lawyer, and Freemason that settled in Arkansas. He was a reporter for the Arkansas Supreme Court, represented Native American tribes in land claim trials, supported the Know Nothing Party in Arkansas, and was a brigadier general in the Confederate Army.
