The Ku Klux Klan is a white supremacist hate group targeting multiple groups of people, especially African Americans, in order to "purify" American society. In later years, they also worked on documenting related history, producing pro- Southern literature, offering scholarships to participants that met their standards, and supported the KKK. An auxiliary organization, the Children of the Confederacy, also exists and is sponsored by the UDC.
