Description
This collection contains one broadside, a plea by A.R. Kennedy to "Officers and Members of the Presbyterian Church in Arkansas" to increase the endowment of Arkansas College, Batesville.
Biographical/Historical Note
Arkansas College was founded in 1872 in association with the Arkansas Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in the United States. It was renamed to Lyon College in 1994 and is Arkansas' oldest independent college still operating under its original charter.
