Biographical/Historical Note
J. Gilbert Leigh was an insurance agent at L.B. Leigh and Co. in Little Rock, Arkansas. The company was founded by his uncle, L.B. Leigh. L.B. Leigh was born in Rome, Georgia, in 1851, but later moved to Little Rock. At the time the article in this collection was published, the company had been operating in Little Rock for 60 years.
