Description
This collection consists of one circular letter, from J. Frank Wilson, announcing his candidacy for prosecuting attorney of the 4th Judicial District, Yellville, Arkansas, dated March 31, 1884.
Biographical/Historical Note
John Frank Wilson (1846-1911) was a colonel in the Confederate Army during the Civil War and later a member of the Arkansas State House of Representatives in 1877. He was also state court judge in Arizona (1893), Arizona Territory Attorney General (1896), and delegate to U.S. Congress from Arizona Territory (1899).
