This collection contains 14 cartoon flyer cards from the "This Is Arkansas" series, published by the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism. Each card depicts a fact about Arkansas.
Biographical/Historical Note
The cards in this collection were collected by Bobbie Ethel Landers Kennard who was born in Kansas on January 17, 1900. Kennard was a journalist. She married Frank James Kennard on March 10, 1920, and the two had five children. She died on August 17, 1998 in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas.
