This collection contains photographs and pages from the family Bible of the Fred Boone Gifford family of Conway, Arkansas.
Biographical/Historical Note
According to the family Bible pages in this collection, Fred Boone Gifford was born in Missouri on December 3, 1868. He married Melvina Elizabeth Gifford on April 29, 1891, in Conway, Arkansas. Melvina Gifford was born in Arkansas on August 11, 1869. They had two children, Freeda Leah Gifford (born July 6, 1892) and Fred Boone Gifford, Jr. (born March 12, 1894). Both children were born in Arkansas. Fred Boone Gifford died on July 31, 1893, in Mayflower, Arkansas, and Melvina Gifford died June 15, 1904, in Conway, Arkansas.
