This collection contains one bulletin for Fort Smith Junior College in Fort Smith, Arkansas, from June of 1934.

Biographical/Historical Note

Fort Smith Junior College was founded in Fort Smith, Arkansas, in 1928. It operated within the Fort Smith public school system until 1950 when it became a private, nonprofit institution. In 1965, it became a public institution. The name was changed in 1966, to Westark Junior College, and in 1972, to Westark Community College. The name was changed again in 1998 to Westark College. On January 1, 2002, the school officially merged with the University of Arkansas system and became the University of Arkansas- Fort Smith.
