This collections contains six photographs of the construction of the South Fourche LaFave River Bridge.
Biographical/Historical Note
The South Fourche LaFave River Bridge was constructed in 1933 by McEachin and McEachin of Little Rock, Arkansas, which was awarded the contract the previous year in 1932. Located in Perry County, Arkansas, on State Highway 7 this two Parker pony truss bridge spans 485 feet crossing the South Fourche LaFave River. Still in use today, this historic bridge has contributed to the development of vehicular transportation in the area.
