Biographical/Historical Note
Richard D. Chotard was born May 1861 in Mississippi. Virginia J. Craig was born November 1869 in Kentucky. They were married in 1897. They had two children, Robert C., born April 1897, and Elizabeth B., born August 1899. Alice K. Craig, Virginia's sister, lived with the Chotards. Richard D. Chotard served as Chicot County, Arkansas, Circuit Clerk.
