This collection contains a copy of a muster roll for Company H of First Arkansas Cavalry.

Biographical/Historical Note

First Arkansas Cavalry (Crawford's) was organized at Camden, Arkansas, on December 30, 1863, by Colonel William A. Crawford. It consisted of ten companies from Clark, Columbia, Ouachita, Lafayette, Saline, and Union counties. Two companies were added later.
