This collection contains a muster roll for the Columbia Guards.

Biographical/Historical Note

Company G, the "Columbia Guards" were part of the Sixth Arkansas Infantry Regiment. They were commanded by Captain J.W. Austin. The company was originally organized on May 10, 1861, as a volunteer company in the 56th Regiment, Arkansas State Militia.
