This collection contains a letter from Jim Trimble, U.S. House of Representatives, to former Arkansas History Commission Director Ted Worley and a report to the Library of Congress on Pea Ridge and the bill to make it a National Park.

Biographical/Historical Note

Pea Ridge National Military Park was created by an act of Congress in 1956. The park preserves the battlefield of the 1862 Battle of Pea Ridge.
