This collection consists of a notice to tax payers from J.W. Quinn, sheriff and ex-officio collector for Pope County, Arkansas.
Biographical/Historical Note
Pope County was formed on November 2, 1829, from a portion of Crawford County. It is named for John Pope, the third governor of the Arkansas Territory. The county seat is Russellville.
